Jerry is also an active officer of various professional organizations such as:

• Vice-President of the Press Photographers of the Philippines
• National Director of the Government Photographers Association of the Philippines
• Vice-President of the Presidential Photojournalists Association

Aside from this positions he is also a regular member of the National Press Club and of the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcasters ng Pilipinas.

Besides being the Chief of PCPO, he was also appointed by President Arroyo as a member of the Review Board of the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
